The George Institute for Global Health

The George Institute for Global Health, headquartered in Sydney, is committed to undertaking research and identifying practical solutions that are central to improving the health of people worldwide, particularly in those in resource-poor settings.

BSM Communications completed a series of feature-style articles that showcased seven George Institute projects. For inclusion in the 2010 annual report, the aim of the narrative-style copy was to more effectively engage with the institute’s wide range of stakeholders. Topics include: salt substitution projects in China, foetal alcohol syndrome disorders in indigenous Australian communities, improved diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease, and helmet use for prevention of road traffic head injuries in Vietnam.
